Join us in celebrating 20 years of conservation success in Rhode Island! We couldn’t have done it without you!

This year, The Nature Conservancy in Rhode Island is celebrating 20 years of vital conservation work as a Chapter, and the initial projects that led to this important milestone.

In May, The Nature Conservancy in Rhode Island kicked off this celebration with its First Annual State Director's Breakfast. Over fifty friends, members, and trustees joined staff for breakfast overlooking upper Narragansett Bay to celebrate the tremendous conservation accomplishments the Conservancy has had in two decades.

Thanks to you, and more than 5,000 like-minded supporters, the Conservancy has protected over 30,000 acres of shoreline, rivers, fields and forests across the state, including:

  • 6,800 acres of world-class coastal habitat
  • 130 miles of cool, clean brooks, streams and rivers
  • almost 20,000 acres of green forest
  • 2,800 acres of productive farmland

Our success ensures that Rhode Island will always have places where wildlife flourishes and people find refuge.

Thank you for being a part of this success story and leaving a legacy of wild and vibrant places for future generations.

As a special thanks to you, please join us on a guided tour to see the results of our work first hand — results you can walk on!
